UTS: Unreserved Ticketing System
An App Created for the Purpose of Online ticket booking. Where a user could Directly book a Local Railway Ticket and travel to the preferred destination.
The Application was Created in 2014 by Indian Railways to offer cashless ticketing option to its customer through internet ticketing.Currently, This Application is available in some Cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Secunderabad.
How To Use This App and book a Local Railway Ticket Online
2: Open The App And Sign up For Your Numbers.
NOTE: Carry One Of Your Document Details : (Pan card, Driving License, Passport Or Bank Passbook.)
3: After Entering All the Details, You will be redirected to login page, Where you have to enter your register mobile number. An OTP will be Received in the provided number containing a password which you to use for login.
4: A window Will be Appeared Containing options like Book Ticket, Cancel Ticket etc
a: Book Ticket: Used for booking Online Ticket.
b : Cancel Ticket: Used for canceling Ticket.
c : Booking history: Shows the details of tickets books or canceled
d: R- Wallet: Basically a wallet which can be used as a payment option for Booking Online Ticket.
e : Profile: Has options for Changing city or journey details
f: Show Ticket: Shows the ticket which is been booked
g : Logout: Ends all the Activity.
5: Go To book Ticket and Choose the Preferred option and select Normal Booking, Quick Booking, Platform Ticket, Season Ticket.
6: Choose Booking Mode :
Book And travel: It is A Paperless mode of booking ticket.
Book and Activate At Originating Station (Paperless): Currently available in Chennai
Book And Print Paper: Its the Same Procedure just you have to print the ticket at source station and then board to your train
Procedure for booking a ticket is mentioned below ↓
7: Select From station: Source Station Name/Code
Select To Station : Destination Station name /Code
NOTE: In From Station , You can only choose stations which are near to you. Maybe near 2/3 KM.
Once You Entered Details Click to Done.
8: Enter Details of Adult And Child With You, And Select Class.
Ex (First Class :::: Second Class)
Select Payment Option As R-Wallet Or Debit, Card, Credit Card, Paytm etc.
9: Select Payment Options and Enter Details :
Note: You have to keep your Debit card or Credit Card Details to you.
After Selecting Any one of Them Click on Make Payment and It will redirect to their Specific page and will ask you to enter Your details.After Entering Proper Details its Will redirect to an OTP Page.
One OTP will be sent Through your selected Gateway.Enter The OTP and Proceed.
NOTE : Don’t Share OTP with Others.
Once The OTP is been verified the amount will be deducted and your Online Ticket will be Booked.
As This Process is Extremely easy and also Saves Time for booking of more than 2 or more tickets at one time without standing in a queue.
