In less than 5 months after launching Oneplus 5, Oneplus has launched new Oneplus 5T with improvement and better camera.Oneplus 5T is going to replace Oneplus 5 with the same price. Is it worth to upgrade Oneplus 5T? Let’s see and decide whether it is worth to upgrade from OnePlus 5 or not.

There’s not much change here, as both the OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5 have a full metal body, but there are some very slight differences in the weight and dimensions.

The OnePlus 5 comes with a dual-rear camera, as we mentioned previously. This is made up of a 16-megapixel f/1.7 sensor and a 20-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto sensor. Electronic image stabilization is on board, along with features including Portrait Mode and Pro Mode.

The front camera on the OnePlus 5 is a 16-megapixel sensor with a f/2.0 aperture. There is a display flash for selfies in darker lighting conditions and there is also auto HDR.
The OnePlus 5T continues with a dual-rear camera but it changes the setup slightly. The new device has a 16-megapixel f/1.7 sensor, coupled with a 20-megapixel f/1.7 sensor, moving away from the telephoto sensor found on the OnePlus 5.

The front-facing camera remains the same as the OnePlus 5, with a 16-megapixel sensor offering an aperture of f/2.0 but there is a new feature called Face Unlock on board the new device. The rear camera offers similar features to the OnePlus 5 model, with both Pro and Portrait modes on board.

OnePlus hasn’t upped the price for the OnePlus 5T, with it coming in at the same amount as the OnePlus 5, namely $479/£449/AU$599 for 64GB and $539/£499/AU$699 for 128GB.

Now you already know the key differences.I don’t think there is any need to upgrade to your OnePlus 5T from OnePlus 5 until you have enough money to burn. The key change is the display. OnePlus 5 is still a good phone and performance is almost same. So, it is worth to ignore OnePlus 5T if you are already using OnePlus 5.
