Get TWRP recovery for your device if unavailable for your device

Hello Folks, Welcome to the Android Guide at TechJunglee.com . This post is a side part of the main guide. You probably landed here because you read our guide and didn’t find a custom recovery for our device. In this post, we will look forward to get a custom TWRP recovery for your device. Thanks to the TWRP Builder’s team, this is now possible. So without wasting your time, let’s get started 🙂

Check if your phone already got unofficial TWRP recovery:

First check if your device got unofficial recovery here: Click to see if your device already got TWRP

If you got your phone listed there, go back to Install a Custom Recovery on Your Android Phone

If you did not see your phone listed there, read further.

 

Things you need:

  • If you are rooted, you need nothing more than this app.
  • If you are non-rooted, you need your stock firmware and this app.

How to get TWRP recovery for:

Rooted phones:

  • Install the TWRP recovery Builder’s App: Click here to download
  • Open the TWRP recovery Builder’s App and grant root access.

  • Sign in Using your Google Account

  • Click on make request, this will collects necessary files for making TWRP.
  • Upload backup, and wait till you get notification about TWRP for your device from app.
  • Once you get your custom Recovery, head back to :  Install a Custom Recovery on Your Android Phone

For non-rooted phones:

  • Download Stock Firmware for your device (try Googling for better results)
  • Install the TWRP recovery Builder’s App: Click here to download
  • Open the TWRP recovery Builder’s App and sign in using your Google Account
  • Now extract your Stock Firmware and find a file called recovery.img. Copy this file to your phone’s storage.
  • Open the TWRP recovery Builder’s App again and select Custom Backup option.
  • Select recovery.img from the file manager.
  • Upload backup, and wait till you get notification about TWRP for your device from app.
  • Once you get your custom Recovery, head back to :  Install a Custom Recovery on Your Android Phone

 

So that’s it, you just got a TWRP Recovery for your device that was not having it officially.
