Asus has launched in India a revised and updated version of its ZenFone 3 Max, called Asus ZenFone 3S Max. The device, identified by the ZC521TL Code, is defined by the Taiwanese manufacturer as a more powerful variant of the ZenFone 3 Max 5.2 inches (ZC520TL). Characterized by an aluminum unibody frame, ZenFone 3S Max is available in Black and Gold Sand colors (although there is no trace in the network of a pink version) and features a biometric sensor fingerprint for the fingerprint recognition on the home button, able unlocking the device in 0.5 seconds.
But the strong point of the new smartphone is made, as can be seen from the name of the device, its battery monster well as 5000 mAh, which should ensure, according to the manufacturer, up to 3 days of battery life in use “normal “. It is a big step forward compared to ZenFone 3 Max, who already adopted a large 4130 mAh battery. Asus has managed to stay such a large battery in a device with a 5.2-inch display and was also responsible for improving performance.
ZenFone 3S Max uses a SoC MediaTek MT6750 octa-core 1.5GHz with a Mali T860 GPU (replacing the less powerful MT6737T quad-core 1.3 GHz), which are supported 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. It is a dual-SIM device (Micro + Nano / microSD up to 2TB) with HD screen with 1280 x 720 pixels having a brightness of 450 nits and 2.5D glass. The rear camera is 13mp, with f / 2.0 aperture, lens 5P Large and dual-LED Flash real-tone. The front sensor is instead 8MP, with wide-angle lens 85 °, HDR, and low-light mode.
Equipped with 4G LTE connectivity, WiFi 802.11 AC and Bluetooth 4.0, Asus ZenFone 3S Max mounts unlike its predecessor, the operating system Android 7.0 Nougat with ZenUI 3.0 user interface. Also, note the presence of a double microphone with noise reduction system and a speaker with ICEpower. 8.5 mm thick – do not thin, but that was predictable in light of the size of the battery – and heavy 175 grams, ZenFone 3S Max will be available in India at a price of 14,999 Indian rupees.
